Trader introduction terms

Pilot and contact-use terms. Each approved trader account can request up to three free introductions during one shared 30-day launch window. Its exact end date is displayed in your signed-in dashboard. This is not a new 30-day trial starting when you register. Joining late does not extend the end date.

No payment card is required for these introductions. Unused free introductions expire when the pilot ends. After three introductions, or the end date, whichever comes first, further introductions require separately enabled paid access at £15 each. Further introductions are unavailable while payments stay off; this does not extend the free allowance. There is no automatic charge, subscription or automatic conversion.

Repeat visits to the same introduction do not use another allowance. A failed or unavailable request does not use an allowance. Free and paid introductions share the same limit of three buyers per car. Granted contact access does not end merely because the pilot ends; it lasts until the displayed seller-data retention date, unless access is withdrawn for misuse. A withdrawn free introduction does not automatically restore the allowance. Tell us about invalid contacts at hello@motli.co.uk.

Planned paid introductions, not currently available

Payments are not available here. £15 is the planned future price, not an automatic charge or an invitation to pay now. The purchase and refund rules below apply only when paid access is separately enabled.

Approved professional motor traders can browse available vehicle previews free. When paid access is enabled, a £15 one-time payment buys access to one seller’s name, phone number, email and vehicle registration. The total charged is £15; there is no subscription, wallet top-up or subsequent Motli vehicle-sale fee.

The introduction is non-exclusive. No more than three buyers can receive access through Motli for a listing. Availability is checked and a buyer slot is reserved when checkout is prepared. A pending checkout may temporarily reserve a slot.

Seller details and vehicle checks

Access is released after a confirmed free pilot request or verified payment, not merely by returning from Stripe. Information is supplied by the seller. You must make your own checks of ownership, condition, history, finance and suitability. Motli does not sell the vehicle, guarantee a purchase or guarantee that the seller accepts your offer.

Use the contact details only to discuss that vehicle. Do not resell the information, add the seller to marketing lists or share it with other traders. Agree collection and the vehicle purchase directly with the seller. Contact access ends on the retention date shown in the dashboard.

Problems and refunds

If Motli cannot supply an introduction after payment because the vehicle becomes unavailable during checkout, we arrange a refund to the original payment method. Contact details are not released for that order.

If the supplied contact details are invalid, or the vehicle was already unavailable when you paid, email hello@motli.co.uk with your order reference and an explanation. We review the evidence and refund introductions that could not be supplied as described. Refunds are not wallet credit. A valid introduction does not become refundable simply because you decide not to buy, cannot agree a price or another buyer purchases the vehicle later.

We do not promise a response from a seller or a completed vehicle purchase. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
