This pilot is for repair or resale, not scrap disposal. Do not submit Category A/B vehicles, vehicles declared as waste or vehicles with a Certificate of Destruction.

Free from submission to introduction. Your car is shown to approved traders, not published as a public classified advert. You stay in control of any sale.

  1. Submit your car for free

    Add the registration, mileage, photos, condition, known faults and selling timeframe. Leave contact details so an interested buyer can reach you. No seller account is needed.

  2. We review it first

    Keep the reference on your confirmation screen. Motli checks the submission before making it available to approved traders; submitting does not publish it immediately.

  3. Traders choose your car

    Approved traders browse photos and details with an approximate area, such as PE9. We ask for the outward code, never a full postcode. Up to three buyers can confirm an introduction and receive your contact details.

  4. Agree a sale directly

    Interested traders contact you by phone or email. Compare their offers with no obligation to sell. You and the buyer agree any inspection, final price, collection and payment for the car directly.

After submitting, what do I do?

Keep your reference and the private management link in your receipt email. Use it to check status, correct vehicle details, mark the car sold or withdraw it—no account or password needed. Editing a live car returns it to review before new introductions. Interested traders contact you directly; there is no online offers inbox. For contact, registration or photo changes, email hello@motli.co.uk with your reference. Never share your private link.

New listings stay available for 30 days after approval. We email a reminder five days before expiry. If your car is still available and its details are accurate, confirm through your private link during those final five days to add another 30 days. Without confirmation, it comes off the available list automatically. Mark it sold or withdraw it sooner if needed. Expiry does not delete your history; contact us to request review of an expired listing or if your private access period prevents renewal.

You choose the vehicles, not Motli. Browsing uses no allowance. Confirming an introduction uses one free place and shares that seller’s contact details with you—not an exclusive right to buy the car.

  1. Apply, then accept your invitation

    Apply with your business details. Motli manually reviews the application; if approved, you receive an email invitation. After accepting it, use emailed one-time sign-in links—no password needed.

  2. Browse before choosing

    Review the regional catalogue for free: photos, vehicle details, condition and approximate area. Buying preferences support optional vehicle email alerts; they do not restrict which cars you can browse.

  3. Confirm an introduction

    Choose a car, review the contact-use terms and confirm before using an introduction. Each approved trader gets three free introductions during the same shared 30-day launch window, not 30 days from joining. No automatic charges.

  4. Contact the seller yourself

    The seller’s contact details become available in your dashboard. Reopen a saved introduction without using another allowance. Discuss your offer directly; Motli does not submit bids or arrange the vehicle purchase for you.

What happens after my three free introductions?

Your dashboard shows the shared pilot end date and remaining allowance. Once either runs out, further introductions are unavailable while payments remain off. £15 per introduction is the planned paid price, only if paid access is separately launched and you explicitly choose to pay. There is no card requirement, subscription or automatic conversion.

Motli does not charge private sellers to submit a vehicle or require them to sell.

An introduction, not a winning bid

Up to three approved traders can receive a seller’s details. An introduction is not a valuation, accepted offer or guaranteed sale. There is no on-site bidding system.

The decision stays direct

Motli connects both sides. It does not buy, value, collect, finance or take payment for the vehicle, guarantee an offer or complete the sale.
